I’ve created an account but I can’t see the candidate search, why isn’t it working?
There is a high chance that you have created a candidate account. The biggest difference between the two is that you will be asked questions about your company within the employer account registration as opposed to your work experience in the candidate registration. If you think you’ve accidentally created a candidate account instead of an employer account, or you are still having this issue, message us on our <b>live chat</b> or through our <a href="/contact" class="underline">contact us</a> page. One of our customer service representatives will be happy to help you resolve this issue.
If I forgot my password, how do I reset it?
Click on ‘Forgot password’ on the <a href="/login?type=employer" class="underline">Sign in page</a> or follow this <a href="/forgot-password" class="underline">link</a>. Enter your email address and click on the ‘Email password reset link’. You will receive an email from [email protected] with a link. Click on the ‘Reset password’ link and it will take you to a page where you can input your new password (Note: The link is only active for 60 minutes). Enter and confirm your new password and click reset password.
What is the point of contacting a passive candidate?
Passive candidates are still in the market, but they are just harder to find in usual circumstances. Lawyers Careers provides access to qualified candidates who are only looking for certain conditions like better pay, promotion or additional job benefits to move. Our passive candidates have answered many questions regarding moving to an ideal new role, which means if you meet their listed requirements they are just as likely to fill the empty role at your company as an actively seeking candidate.

We are constantly expanding our candidate database, so be sure to check back often.
Why can’t I see the full profile of a candidate?
To unlock the full profile of a candidate you will need to pay the listed amount on the profile. This will unlock the profile, which means you can contact the candidate and view any changes for a year.
How do I invite more people from my company to use Lawyers Careers?
Lawyers Careers currently only allows 1 company email per company account. Shortly, we intend to allow multiple users to log in to the same company account.
I've already unlocked a candidate. Why can't I message them or see their communication details on the platform anymore?
At Lawyers Careers, we prioritise the privacy of our candidates, ensuring they can confidently and securely pursue their dream roles. If you're unable to message a candidate, it's possible they've chosen to hide their profile from you or that their profile unlock period has expired (1 year). You can renew access by revisiting their profile and clicking the renew button underneath the timer.
